Andre Lira

Founder & President

Andre Lira, founder and president of EPIC Staffing Agency, is an intuitive visionary, entrepreneur, and leader in the hospitality staffing and recruitment sector.

After years of working in every facet of the hospitality industry, Mr. Lira found that what was frequently missing in the industry was a particular standard of service that encompassed the exceptional and extraordinary. He had the idea to create an event staffing and hospitality recruitment agency that would aspire to a luxury level of service, be dedicated to its consistency, and, above all, surpass expectations.

The entrepreneur has developed an original formula, EPIC University, a one of a kind results-oriented training that ensures team members achieve excellence and deliver results. This was created from his own credo for success: Superior customer service, which is achieved through leadership, teamwork, well-polished communication skills, and an unwavering desire to deliver perfection.

The company has grown to include servicing a roster that features some of the most recognizable Fortune 500 businesses. EPIC continues to set the standard for industry staffing and recruitment services.

Jamila Ross

Operations Manager

Jamila's experience in the hospitality industry has taken her from back of the house to working in the best hotels in Manhattan, South Beach, Beverly Hills, and Dubai, which makes her superbly qualified in her position. As operations manager, Jamila's responsibilities require a dynamic attitude and the ability to keep EPIC running smoothly from its event staffing to its recruitment services.

A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 2012, she continued her education at Johnson & Wales University, where she received a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.

She's found the perfect workplace culture in Epic that suits her style.

Diana Millan

Executive Recruiter and Operations

Diana's career makes her one of the most well-rounded recruiters in the business — she has been one on the front lines with a five-star background in some of the most prestigious names in hospitality and she comes from a family of recruiters.

As a restaurant manager at Starr Restaurants' Buddakan NYC and STEAK 954 in the W Hotel, plus time spent in California's central coast at Domaine Alfred and Chamisal Vineyards, where she worked in the vineyards, the cellars, tasting room and as a chef, Diana brings an experience driven, yet consultative approach, to hospitality recruiting.

She is an expert in all aspects of food and beverage.

Diana believes that her wine experience, plus knowledge paired with sommelier studies, gives her an edge when clients are challenged with finding sommeliers and other impeccable talents for F&B positions.

As founder and president of Excel Creative Group (ECG-Miami), Scott provides expert marketing and branding guidance for EPIC as well as a spectrum of corporate and consumer brands in industries ranging from hospitality to finance to upscale real estate and luxury goods. This sought after and internationally known expert works closely with clients to craft brand strategies that enlighten business plans and create successful and memorable businesses. He is recognized for his expertise in brand identity and is skilled at creating and implementing brand strategies across traditional advertising, digital, internal and external communications. Scott brings branding and marketing expertise from both the advertising agency and client arenas, having served as president of his own organizations for over two decades.
